Supervision Sessions

Alan has been providing supervision to professional counsellors and student counsellors since 2020.

His role as a counselling supervisor began whilst working with Marie Curie, where Alan was not only a therapist, supporting the patients and families that Marie Curie Hospices cared for, but then went on to provide supervision to one of their teams of telephone outworkers.

In addition to working with Marie Curie staff, Alan supervises counselling students from Warwick University, Newman College and Maple Leaf Counselling Services, to name just three, as well as professional therapists from around the country.

Alan's approach is one of support and encouragement, whilst providing essential clinical oversight and ethical guidance to the therapists he is working with. This hands-on approach with his supervisees ensures that the clients they represent are receiving the help and support they deserve whilst ensuring professional standards are upheld.
